The tennis star didn’t look in best shape in the first set. The first set started with an early break over Del Potro, however, he could not capitalize on it and lost the set in tie breakers. Federer broke Del Potro twice, however he still missed the chance to seal the first set.
However, in 2nd set, Federer did improve his intensity and game and went on to win the other two sets easily. At start of 2nd set, he found himself thumping the net in frustration as he missed a backhand volley. However, he stood up well and went on to win the next 2 sets comprehensively.
