Personal Jet Service, TapJets had always been very innovative with its booking systems. The company says its mission is to leverage technology and upgrade the private jet booking process for clients.
TapJets was the first ever jet service to offer “instant booking with Bitcoin.” Ethereum was also added soon after.
To decide which altcoins should be added next as a payment option, TapJets consulted its customers by holding a Twitter poll with three different options including Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC) and Verge (XVG).
Our #cryptocurrency friends asked for their project to be included in our payment methods. Our CEO @EugeneKesselman promised a quick poll from the product team so here it is #XVG vs #XRP vs #LTC what should be our next move #FLYTAPJETS

It was a fierce competition between the three cryptocurrencies as their respected supporters obviously wanted their favorite cryptocurrency to win. The post got thousands of likes, comments and retweets till the poll finally ended.
Well, at the end of the poll, TapJets has decided to add Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC) as new options of payments including API testing and exchange transaction testing.
“TapJets will proceed to the technical evaluation of Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC). We plan to complete our assessment that includes API testing, exchange transaction testing, and other validations by May 28, 2018,” said TapJets CEO, Eugene Kesselman.
TapJets says it aims to allow customers use XRP and LTC by June 1st, though this will “depend on how agile development teams of XRP/LTC are to our requests.”
Kesselman says he is already in contact with the Litecoin team and will reach out to the Ripple team on Monday.
The Litecoin team seems very excited to be added on the TapJets payment platform. Co-Founder of Litecoin, Charlie Lee, tweeted that he had been in contact with Eugene Kesselman and also bragged a little about the feasibility of Litecoin as a payment option. He also assured TapJets that the June 1st goal is attainable with Litecoin.

Though, TapJets will not be integrating Verge at this point, Kesselman said that he wants to recognize the Verge community. He said that Verge (XVG) has a “strong following, great feedback, and lots of potentials.” Kesselman added that the strong Verge community has “forced us to think about significant changes to UX so that additional coins can be added in the future without compromising a checkout experience.”
He also promised that his company will be working on adding new altcoins in near future and Verge is his top priority.
“You have my commitment that in very near future we will be working on another viable altcoin addition to this new UX, and Verge is on top of my list.”
